We are surrounded by print in many forms, and though digital has taken the lion's share of our attention, print is definitely not dead — indeed, even being welcomed again in our digitally overloaded lives. But whether in digital form or printed, design should still be beautiful, compelling, and communicate effectively.
A small sampling of the pieces I've designed over the years, and all created as part of an overall branding strategy. Many of these pieces incorporate logos I designed for these entities (Wildwood School, Planned Parenthood, Children's Blood Foundation, Fern Feldman Anolick Breast Center, Aurora School, Woodstock Land Conservancy, Bread & Roses, Merck/Slice).
A variety of artist and event postcards, magazine ads and books + covers.
Many of the posters here were for longtime client Bread & Roses — the cultural arm of Union 1199 in NYC — where in addition to posters (and more), I designed it's award winning series 'Asian Women of Hope', and 'Native American Women of Hope' where 12 notable women were chosen for each series. The 'Native American Women of Hope' poster series resides in the Smithsonian Museum, in New York City.
Album art and design — and it really doesn't matter whether it's for a cd, digital media or vinyl, the look of it still has to grab you. And of course, great music by these musicians.
Designed all logos and packaging shown in these images — cosmetic packaging, trade show signage, hang tags for clothing, interior and exterior signage.
