websites

One's website should be as unique as they are, and not some cookie cutter approach, while also being highly functional in this always changing realm. It's especially wonderful when it's an extension of a logo that I've created, as that's when one starts to see branding in action. But either way, whether it's a simple site to a very robust one, it should be visually inviting, easily accessible and intuitive for the visitor, and yes, one of a kind.

Jazz in the valley

A jazz festival that is a highlight in the Hudson Valley of NY. Beautiful illustration by artist Ransome. I designed the website, postcards, social media graphics, and other print media (incorporating their existing/provided logo).

jazz in the valley

The website design for this particular year was to celebrate it's 20 years of Jazz in the Valley, but the pandemic put a hold on that — so the original design (already in progress), which included the participating musicians and groups, was replaced with a banner of words to celebrate it's history. Beautiful illustration by Juliette Hemingway.
